Prayer Opportunities

ReDiscover Service

Join us each Tuesday night from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. for a service including special worship music, a time of fellowship with the Lord and each other, and an opportunity to engage in scripture-fed, spirit-led, worship-based prayer. For more info, contact Pastor Mike (336-516-3760 or Email).

Pastor's Prayer Team

Members of the Pastor's Prayer Team gather in groups of three or four to pray for Westside Fellowship, her leaders, her ministries and her future direction.  The groups follow the Pastor's Prayer Guide and spend time in worship-based prayer prior to and after making requests on behalf of the church.  Each group meets once a week for approximately one hour.  For more information or to join a prayer team, contact Kurt Ward (336-516-3762 / Email).

Sunday Morning Prayer Team

Each week, a team of committed individuals prays throughout each of our Sunday morning worship services.  The prayer team members ask God to eliminate distractions, ask Him to draw the lost of Himself, and ask Him to use Westside as a tool to deliver His life-changing message of hope to those in attendance.  To be added to the rotation schedule for this ministry, contact Kurt Ward (336-516-3762 / Email).

Weekly Prayer Request Emails

Those in attendance at our Sunday morning services are given the opportunity to write prayer requests on their Friendship Register, a booklet distributed by the ushers that is designed to collect contact information, various comments, and prayer requests from attendees.

Prayer requests that are designated "public" are sent out via email  to all who have signed up to receive them.  Members may also communicate new prayer requests that come up during the week via email.  To subscribe to the prayer email list, contact Kurt Ward (336-516-3762 / Email)

Prayer Retreats & Conferences

Prayer is incredibly vital in the life of a believer, but there are times when it is easy to lose focus in a fast-paced world that is pulling us in all directions.  The Westside prayer retreats are designed to take you away from the hustle and bustle of your everyday responsibilities so that you can fully focus on God.  It is a sweet time of fellowship with the Lord and with other believers that you would not want to miss.  Keep an eye on the Events Calendar for the next scheduled retreat.
