Meeting The Needs of Our Community

Westside Fellowship has numerous ministries designed to meet the needs of the people of Alamance County.  Some of the ministries focus on serving the families of the church, while others are designed specifically to reach out to the community and meet the needs of the people right where they are.

As a part of an effort to worship Christ, walk with Christ and work for Christ, we believe that all members are called to serve God by serving others.  We work diligently to equip and train you to carry out the ministry that God has shaped you for.

Finding Your Shape for Ministry

If you are a Westside member, we encourage you to look at this list, as well as the Worship and Walk ministry lists and take time to pray and ask God in which areas you should get involved.  Westside's Membership Class offers a session titled "Discovering My Shape for Ministry."  This class can help you determine exactly how God has wired you to serve others.  It can help you define the ministries that you are passionate about, help reveal the skills and experiences God has given you to serve others, and equip you to work for Christ in new and exciting ways.

Questions About a Ministry?  Know of a Need?

If you have questions about any of the ministries listed, just contact the ministry leader or deacon who assists the specific area that interests you.

You should also contact the ministry leader or deacon if you know of a person or family in need who could benefit from the services offered by a specific ministry.

If you know of a need that is currently not being met by the ministries listed, contact Kurt Ward (336-516-3762 / Email).  He can help you find an existing ministry or explain the steps of starting a new one.
